What we do at your gate
Most jobs on a Gambian road can be finished where the car is parked. Below is what we carry tools and parts for. If it isn't listed, call anyway — we'll tell you honestly whether it's a callout or a workshop job.
Batteries & charging
Battery testing under load, alternator output check, starter motor faults, and terminal cleaning. If the battery is finished we can supply and fit a replacement on the spot.
Brakes, tyres & suspension
Pads and discs, brake fluid, wheel bearings, tyre changes and puncture repair, plus a look at the bushes and shocks if the car is wandering or knocking over the laterite.
Full service & oil change
Engine oil and filter, air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, coolant top-up, belts checked. We keep a record of the mileage so you know when the next one is due.
Roadside callouts
Broken down between Kanifing and Brikama, or stuck on the Kombo Sillah highway? Call and describe where you are. If it's a fixable fault we'll come out; if it isn't, we'll say so and help you arrange recovery.
Pre-purchase inspection
Buying a second-hand car? We go with you, or to the seller, and check the things a quick test drive hides: compression, chassis and accident repair, rust in the sills, and whether the mileage and service history add up.

Call and describe it
Tell us the car — make, model, year — and what it's doing. A noise, a light, a smell, a car that turns over but won't catch. The more detail you give, the more likely we arrive with the right part.

We come to the car
Home, workplace, or the side of the road. We work between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM Monday to Saturday, and we'll give you a realistic window rather than a vague "later today".

You get the price first
We diagnose, then tell you what it costs — parts and labour, separately — before we start. Nothing gets replaced without you agreeing to it. Old parts stay with you if you want them.
03 — About
A workshop that fits in a van
Lebfix started the way most useful things in Serekunda start — with a problem that kept coming up. Cars were being towed across town for faults that could have been found and fixed in the owner's own compound. Towing costs money. Waiting for a garage slot costs days. And in the middle of it, the car sits there, and the person who needs it loses work.
So we built the business the other way round. Instead of a yard you bring the car to, we carry the diagnostic kit, the hand tools, the jack and the common parts, and we go to the vehicle. Latrikunda German is home base, and from there we cover Serekunda, Kanifing, Bakau, Sukuta and out along the highway towards Brikama.
We work on the cars people actually drive here — Toyota Corolla and Hilux, Nissan, Hyundai, Kia, the older Mercedes diesels, and the small hatchbacks that do the school run. Parts availability in The Gambia is what it is, so we'll always tell you honestly whether we can get a part today, this week, or whether you're better off sourcing it yourself and calling us back to fit it.
What we won't do is guess. If we don't know what's wrong, we say so and we test until we do. That's the whole offer.
